What Is It

Shield moves tokens into Aztec’s private layer while proving a real, unsanctioned human is behind each transfer, without revealing personal information. It’s the human.tech bridge to Aztec, with identity, sanctions, and PEP screening built in. Each component is independently audited: bridge contracts by Nethermind Security (NM-0756, May 2026), Clean Hands ZK circuits by Hexens (2024), and Human Network threshold cryptography by Halborn (2024). What Do I Need to Get Started?

Ethereum mainnet ETH for L1 gas and a token to bridge (currently USDC). The bridge converts a portion of your deposit to FeeJuice for L2 gas automatically.

1. Go to shield.human.tech 
2. Connect your wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or Silk)
3. Complete identity verification (Proof of Clean Hands or Human Passport)
4. Choose public or private mode and bridge your tokens
