What Is It

Shield enables token movement into Aztec’s private layer while proving compliance without revealing personal information. Audited by Nethermind Security (May 2026). It’s the only compliant on-ramp in the Aztec ecosystem with identity, sanctions, and PEP screening built in.

What Do I Need to Get Started?

Ethereum mainnet ETH for L1 gas and a token to bridge (currently USDC). The bridge converts a portion of your deposit to FeeJuice for L2 gas automatically.

1. Go to shield.human.tech 
2. Connect your wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or Silk)
3. Complete identity verification (Proof of Clean Hands or Human Passport)
4. Choose public or private mode and bridge your tokens
